What is the Stress Map?

The Stress Map is a tool created to help you better understand and manage the sources of stress in your life. In a simple, visual way, it allows you to see which areas of life generate the most tension.

This gives you a "bird's eye view" of your stress load and helps you identify priority areas to work on. The tool supports self-awareness and serves as a starting point for building individual stress reduction strategies and mental resilience.

Instructions

Consider each area in turn, taking into account the suggested questions and other relevant conditions and needs.

In terms of time invested, attention, and satisfaction level, assign a rating from 1 to 3 for each area AT THE CURRENT MOMENT.

1

It's OK – I don't want to change anything, I feel this area doesn't generate stress.

2

Could be better – sometimes this area generates stress.

3

Not good – this area is often the source of tensions, outbursts, accumulation of stress.

Areas rated 3 are priority areas to address and begin working on. Consider how areas rated "2" may depend on those rated higher and what changes you can introduce. This tool should help you start a conversation with yourself and those around you.
